Valais, Switzerland
Col du Sanetsch (or french Col de Sénin) is a mountain pass in Switzerland that connects the Saane valley (Berne) and the rhone valley (Valais). The pass lies on 2252m above sea level and has also a barrier lake. It is accessible by car from the Valais side and by cable car from the Bernese side. On the western end of the pass, the Lapis de Tsanfleuron, a miniature erosion of a limestone surface leads to the glacier of Tsanfleuron.
